How do you Combine and Split Measure?

Hello Musescore community,

I wanted to know how to Combine and Split Measures. If you do not know what i mean, here is a picture

See how it has two measures together than one than two.

Fixed the image problem, i meant something like this, how theres is 1 lined measure then it splits to 2 measures

Use 'Hide empty staves'

Im new to musescoe, so i dont have any idea where that it is. Could you point me in the right direction?

are you here to help? how come Musescore has randomly doubled my measure for no reason, so that I'm left with an empty bar??
