Weird behaviour if combining different notes with ties in github-musescore-musescore-6c735b8
Weird behaviour of a score if using ties: Please open the attached score with 6c735b8. Select all notes and draw a tie with "+". Then a lot of lines is drawn between almost all notes of the score.
I expect tying will be rejected because not all notes have the same pitch.
On the other hand, drawing a slur on the other hand (with "s") runs well.
Bug or feature?

A new misunderstanding (and not a bug, same thing in 2.1)
"I expect tying will be rejected because not all notes have the same pitch."
Contrary to what you write, except the last C, all the other notes (quarter notes) have the same pitch in the last measure (32th)
So, take the time to re-read the handbook if necessary: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/ties. You can see: "Ties are normally created between adjacent notes in the same voice, but MuseScore also supports ties between non-adjacent notes and between notes in different voices."

So I learned:
Beside adjacent notes, ties can be built between notes with same pitch, but the endpoint (or startpoint) may be located in different measures, even in different voices.
This seems to be the reason for the horizontally stacked ties. Is my opinion correct?
Thank you and kind regards

Yes, that observation is correct

I learned too: the playback of such multiple existent notes of the same pitch being a long way away from each other will be played only once (summarized length = length of all notes with the same pitch), but not twice (or more,..).
Correct?
