Correcting Tempo
I think that I posted on this a few minutes ago but it seems to have disappeared.
I am new to musescore so please forgive me if I am asking about something which should be obvious.
In the attached score there is an abrupt tempo change at bar 8. How can I reset the tempo to be the same throughout?

If you want the entire piece to play at 85bpm then select the tempo, cut it (ctrl+x), select the first beat of the first measure (the whole rest works fine) and paste it (ctrl+v). If this does not help, then see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tempo
Default tempo ( i.e. in absence of any tempo text) is 120BPM, so that is what the scores starts with, then in measure 8 you change it to 85, hence you get that abrupt change.

Thanks very much both. Sorted. Now I can change the tempo to whatever I want, wheever I want. Edit Element is the thind that I have learned through this.
