Rests =/= Tabs?
Hey everyone. I read everything the handbook had to say about rests and saw the tutorials. I don't know why I can't use rests in tablature. Along with the accidentals they get blocked out. Does anyone know a way around this so I can use rests in the tabs?
Thanks,

See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature#enter-notes and use a ; to enter a rest in a tablature staff

In Staff type "Full", the rests are displayed by default.
If you are in Staff type "Common" or "Simple", and you also want rests to appear, then do:
right-click on the TAB staff -> Staff Properties -> Advanced style properties -> " Note values" tab -> Tick "Show rests" -> Ok
I'm afraid none of the replies have helped solve the problem, but thanks all.
Can anyone who has experience using rests in the Tablature offer any tips? Thanks.

What version of MyseScore are you using? On which OS?
Can you attach the score you are having problems with?

Are you sure you followed the advice about changing the staff type to "Full" or checking the "Show rests" option in Advanced Style Properties? Either of those approaches definitely work. If you continue to have problems after trying that again, then indeed, please attach your score.

cadiz1 is very experienced with tablature. He can make a tablature for any string intrument invented. If it's not working you are doing something wrong.

@Asim 92, to better advice, a necessary condition is please to attach your score (and by providing details where and how you trying to receive as result: with an image, eg of a published score,)
