muted and unmuted guitar

I added a staff for unmuted part and cut/pasted the music I wanted unmuted onto the new staff. I then adjusted the two channels in the mixer so that playback is fine.

But for printing, there is a small dilemma. I don't want two parts; just one with text notation "muted," "unmuted." if I leave the music that I cut on the first staff, then I have to tweak the dynamics with inspector so that it is inaudible on playback. Other than saving multiple versions of parts for playback or printing, what alternatives are there?
