I'm on it, see PR 1135

I also stumbled on the difference between triangle, the instrument and trianangle the note head form, with, at least in German translate differently (Triangle and Dreieck, respectively). Hard to spot on Transifex

When translating, sometimes also I have confusion as we don't have the context.... and that's a pity ....
some example :
* scale is in musescore "espace" in french , but musicaly it also can be scale like doing the note one after another (like in English musical scale)
* 8th would be often translated as "8eme" in French , but in musical term it can be also "croche" (like 8th note abbreviated) .............. with the context we should less hesitate.....

the best way I found (but with a lot of time) I translate terms when I see them while testing nightly build (and have to find them in Transifex after).....

Been there, done that...
8th and eighth is always referring to the length of a note or rest here and scale never to the music scale. I don't think though that 'espace' is the correct match, more like 'echelle', I guess.
Maybe you meant 'space' to translalate into 'espace'?
