How to create the following?

I am rewriting notes from paper to Musescore. And I cannot achieve what is on the paper.
Please, see image. There is 1/8 note + 1/2 note (is it?) with dot on the same place.

P.S. I am not a musician, I do not know how this is called properly.
I am doing this for my kid, he needs composition to be lowered for singing+piano and I found Musescore the easiest way for us to achieve it.
