Bracket not Snapping to some Staves Correctly
Hi all,
I am trying to add a bracket to 2 of the voice parts in my score (out of a total of 3 voice parts and a piano part). It worked fine initially, but when I changed the parts around a little, the bracket wouldn't snap to the lower staff.
Is this a bug, or is there something that I am not aware of in MuseScore that is causing this?
Thank you for the help,
Tony

Double-click the bracket https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/edit-mode#enter-exit
Drag the handle https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/brackets#edit
If it doesn't work attach here the score you are having problems with.

I have tried that, and sadly it doesn't...
The measures I want the bracket on is mm. 97-103 (Lost in the Woods).
There is also another piece that I have met the same problem with, the measures being mm. 63-66 and mm. 79-83 (Into the Unknown). I have also attached that piece here.
Thank you!

Brackets aren't something one applies to specific measures, they apply to the staves themselves, and are repeated on each system for the entire score. For example, the curly braces in front of the piano staves on each system of your piece are one form of bracket. So I suspect you mean something other than what "bracket" normally means, but it isn't clear what. Can you explain what the symbol you are wanting looks like and what it is supposed to mean? Then we can tell you the term used for that in MuseScore and how to add it.
EDIT: hmm, I see your picture does show actual brackets, but I'm still confused, because the measures you are talking about don't start a new system. In any case, brackets still don;'t apply to individual measures, you would want to add them at the beginning of the score.

They do; are you sure you're looking at the correct piece? Or maybe it's a formatting thing.

Make Visible the drum, adjust the bracket, make Visible the drum

How did you do it for Into the Unknown? Was it the same thing with the wood blocks?
Thank so much.
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason why this is the cause of the problem?

Yes, same steps.
(Remove the scores, I think you might have copyright issues.)

Yeah, I know. I'm only using them personally, they are not online anywhere.
