Won't let me open scores
Musescore won't let me open any scores, only 'this item is temporarily unavailable' pops up for any score I attempt to open.

Did you do anything to your operating system or MuseScore to make that happen?
I have the same issue as carolinevitov. First everything run smoothly on the first try, but then for every score the above message is issued. This renders the app completely worthless for me. I don't thing that I unintentionally changed any setting. In a last attempt I restarted my phone, but this didn't changed anything.

OK, you actually and obviously (I restarted my phone) talk about the mobile app for Android and iOS. In this case you'd need to go to musescore.com, see https://musescore.org/en/faq#faq-20657

Are you talking about MuseScore, the notation program that runs on your computer? There is no such error message in the program. Maybe you are thinking of the website musescore.com, or one of the mobile apps?
If you are seeing this running MuseScore on your computer, it could be a message coming from your operating system, not from MuseScore. I could imagine that happening if, for example, the file you are trying to open is on a network drive but your connection isn't working, or if it is on a drive that is failing.,
And you are talking about the MuseScore program on your PC, Windows, macOS or Linux? If not, see above...
Like the same as https://musescore.com/groups/musescore-updates-and-statuses/discuss/507… (which is in the wrong place too)
I have a vague feeling that this in not about the desktop notation software at all, but about the mobile player companion apps of the musescore.com online score sharing platform.
If so, please see https://musescore.org/en/faq#faq-20657 on where to address your question.
If this however is about the notation software, then please attach any such score so we can at least rule out that part.
[EDIT:] my feeling was so vague it made me slow in responding..
