Score is starting to lag a lot

So right now a score I am working on has started to lag quite a bit, whenever I try to place a note sometimes musescore will freeze for like 2-3 seconds then resume, at first I didn't mind too much, but I am not finished with the score and inputting more notes has started to get annoying.

I'm certain that it occurs only on this score probably because it has gotten quite big, as I have tried other scores and created new ones and this lag does not occur.
I'll leave the download to see if you guys experience the problem as well and if you can fix it, I also don't think it can be my computer as musescore isn't really using that much memory or anything in task manager.

also I am using windows 10 with musescore 3.6

Out of curiosity, what are your CPU specs? I encountered this problem on an early-2015 MacBook Pro (with a 2.7 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor IIRC), even without parts. This is when I was working on transcribing a 7-minute long movement from a symphony for concert band (using MuseScore 3.5). Granted, the lag I experienced was not nearly as extreme as OP's example, but it was likely noticeable enough for a hypothetical composer to be interrupted from their workflow.
