Second bass clef for just a single measure?
As I mentioned in another query, I'm putting together a collection of basso ostinati in a single "score." I have a bass clef and a bass tab (4-string electric), and the ostanati are separated from each other by system breaks. Works for most things. However, there is one single-measure ostinato, in "Dramimine" by Modest Mouse, that has a second, subtle bassline. For the line that that one appears on, I'd like to add a second bass clef for this bassline. I know how to add a second bass clef to the whole score but not to a small section. Is there any way to do this in Musescore?

Add the additional bass clef staff, enter the notes and then set the staff's "Ossia" property

By which I think you mean, set "Hide when empty" to "Always". It's a technique used for ossia as well as other purposes, but it's not labeled that way.
