Loop playback of a score with repeats halfway fails
A score with two parts that each have 2 voltas is loop-played back correctly in Musescore 3.x, but in Musescore 4, after the first or second measure of part 2 the playback jumps back to measure 1. This happened with three different scores tested.

No luck. Playback is fine when single play is set, but with loop play, playback jumps back to measure 1 after measure 19. Apart from this, I could not readily see what change(s) you made to the score?

I selected Volta 1 and from Properties (F8) I edited and restored Repeat List. Apparently before this, for me, it didn't play well.

Thank you. It is strange then that "my" version plays well in single play on my system but apparently not on yours.
Does the loop playback do work correctly on your system? [On my PC, it fails with both "my" and "your" score].
Windows 11, Ryzen 5 5600X, 16 Gb.

No, as you say it does not work correctly. The file appears to be generated with 3.6.2. OS: Linux Mint 20.3, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-230040304, revision: github-musescore-eab50c9

Indeed, my original file was last edited and saved in Musescore 3.6.2.
The first time I noted the loop problem in version 4 was after I had downloaded it upon receiving the announcement of its existence by e-mail. At the time I discarded version 4 and continued using version 3.6.2.
Today I downloaded version 4.0.0.223472200 Revision 5485621, with the same loop problem arising.

The loop, of the entire score (MU4), ignores measures from 20 onward. Even after further attempts.

And here is another example. This time Musescore 4 with loop playback set manages to play up to measure 14 incl. before it jumps back to measure 1.

I see that issue 339140 (Looping broken, severity major) has been marked a duplicate of issue 338448 (Repeats interfere with Loop Playback); the latter unfortunately has severity minor … For me, this issue makes M4 unusable.

I don't see either as a major issue, esp. not in comparison to many other 4.x bugs
