Most of my score just disappeared overnight

Yesterday I was working on a score and I saved it, didn't close out of the app, and went to bed. The next morning I woke up with my computer still on and opened to musescore, but half of the score I worked for around 3 hours on yesterday is just gone. How can I recover the file? I've checked the version history and the last modified time checks out, but most of my work has just disappeared. Are other people having this problem with 4.0.2? I just got the update yesterday and it seems like it already has a lot of issues.
