Parts export
In Musescore 3 parts could be exported in a variety of formats, including .mscz. This was very practical for me as I could export parts, modify them for readability (I like to space parts a bit wider than scores for example) and page turns and print them.
In Musescore 4 (first iteration) export as .mscz was no longer available but export as . mscx was still possible. Dealing with this is only a very minor nuisance.
I just noticed that in Musescore 4.02 export as a Musescore file of any sort is no longer an option, meaning I would have to re-invent my process. This is rather a significant nuisance.
Was it necessary to remove those options? Is there any chance that they may return?

3.x allowed export as mscx, that in turn is experimental in 4.x and also needs separate folders for each.

I found that exporting as .xml and then opening in Musescore 4.x preserves nearly all formatting (only exception I found: staccato dots are on above or below the staff rather than close to the note heads). This is good enough for my purposes.

The staccato issue is known IIRC
