Question: how to notate this piano part?

Use cross-staff notation for the chords, then add the tremolo from the Tremolos palette:

FWIW I don't like the default positioning of the tremolo beams, but you can adjust their position downwards in the Properties panel.

That bad tremolo position is fixed in 4.1

note that in the original, the right hand chord is two octaves higher. I guess the solution is still the same though.
