Written Guitar Notes Not Transposing With 'Capo' Applied
I transposed a piece up a tone and applied an ascending 2 fret capo indication to the guitar part. The audible sound of the guitar stave transposes correctly, but the written notes remain in the lower key i.e. the piece is transposed from C to D major, the guitar part sounds in D but the written notes are still in C.
Is that standard in published scores?
Also the chord diagrams have transposed in appearance i.e. the chord windows are in D major etc., but sound a completely atonal and discordant mess.
Has this happened for anyone else?
Thanks!

Apologies, I didn't explain correctly. Applying a 'Capo' indication transposed the sound but not the notation or chord diagrams.
Is that a publishing norm?

MuseScore can't transpose fretboard diagrams, a known restriction.
In the 'simple' case of a capo it might be quite easy to implement, but in the 'normal' transpose case it is not, as there is no one to one relationship between a chord symbol and a fretboard diagram
