How can I write intersecting two voices?
I am struggling to write two voices jointed together in one stave. I would like to separate the voices to make clear the structure, but I cannot connect every second stem. ( As I am not confident in my verbal explanation, I will attach a screeshot of such an example.) I can use more than two voices or can change the direction of stem one after another, but I cannot connect beams or flags of every other note. It would be most helpful if anyone could tell me how to do it. Thanks in advance for your help!

See http://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices, also check the links at the bottom of that bage.
The images you attached doesn't show voices, it shows 12 8th notes in 12/8 measures which some non-default stem direction and beaming, all in voice 1.

Thanks for your very prompt reply.
Probably I used an inapproproate word to describe the example. What I wanted to show was that although the example shows in point of fact only one voice in one line as you pointed out, there are more than two underlying voices to comprise the music, musically speaking, and thus I want to connect two quaver stems jumping over another one just like the example picture I attached. Whether one voice or two voices, I would be happy if I could draw such note stems in the music sheet. Thanks

Well, your example shows only one voice...
And no, this kind of beaming doesn't seem to be possible.
You can fake it using voices, making the rests invisible and using this trick , see attached.

Thanks for you advice!
I could do it by using two voices and make every second note invisible.
(I didn't know that I can make only a stem and a note head invisible out of jointed notes.)
I appreciate your help ever so much.

No actually Jojo, there are two voices - I suspect this piece is for 'Cello with the note that is tails up being the open D string.
It is done by doing the upper voice (voice 1) as a series of quaver rest quaver D quaver rest, then selecting the rests and making them invisible.
The second voice is then entered as a series of notes rest note, then the beams added as described in this page of the handbook:
http://musescore.org/en/node/11370
Finally the rest are selected and made invisible.
The attached score shows the result as entered from the OP's picture.

Heh, I had beaten you by 3 minutes ;-)
But still this kind of beaming is not possible with just one voice

Thanks for your help and agreement with my view on how many voices.
(You are right. it is the beginning of Bach's cello suite No.6.)
I could make such notes by using two voices and making every second note
(or semiquaver rest) invisible. I appreciate your help.
