Followers and Groups
I am new to MuseScore and i have a couple of questions:
1. What are followers and groups?
2. What are the benefits of being in a group or following someone?
Sorry if these questions sound stupid but i was just wondering.

There is neither on MuseScore.org no in MuseScore (the program) itself, so I guess you are talking about MuseScore.com and should maybe better ask there ;-)
Groups (on MuseScore.com) might be closed, so you'd need to be a member to see the content.
Or you'd need to be a member to post stuff.

when i log in to my profile, i get the chance to follow people. I just thought maybe it notified both of us when we posted a score or something....

Followers: You will be notified about new scores by people you follow.
Groups: You will be notified when a new score is added to a group you are a member of. Also depending on the nature of the group, it can give you access to scores that are private.
