Janky scrolling in palettes window?
When I have a lot of palettes open and I try to quickly scroll through with my laptop's trackpad it gets really glitchy and lags a lot. This only seems to happen when I use the trackpad; I tried using a mouse scroll wheel and it was fine. What I think is happening is that it is trying to lock the palette that is highlighted, or the one that was most recently highlighted if I don't have any selected, to the top of the window so when I try to scroll past it it tries to go back, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm running MuseScore 3.4.2 on macOS 10.12.6 if that matters.

In this Google Drive folder I've included three video examples. The one titled "Scrolling Through Palettes" is attempting to quickly scroll through the palettes window with my trackpad in version 3.4.2, the one titled "Scrolling Through Palettes on Nightly Build" is on the most recent nightly version, and the one titled "Scrolling Slowly Through Palettes" is be trying to scroll more slowly but still having the issue happen.
Hopefully these videos are able to help diagnose the problem.
Is anyone else having this issue?

I have this issue too. Apparently this has been discussed in another chat (https://musescore.org/en/node/294613), where the solution seems to be updating to 3.3.3. However, this problem still exists for me up to 3.4, so I'm not sure what's going on. Hope this helps you more than it helped me :P

Issue #294613: Disable or weaken the jumping effect on the palettes menu when scrolling with the mouse wheel had been reopened for that reason..
I am not sure if Single Palette mode works on macOS or not -
