Configuring Smooth scrolling
I have installed MuseScore-3.5.0-Alpha-x86_64.msi looking foward to the new smooth scrolling, but I see the same continous scrolling as the MuseScore-3.4.2-x86_64.msi, is there any configuration setting I should check?

Edit->preferences...->advanced - there you'll find the settings for smooth pan.

The blue one is the normal one and not (yet) configurable.

As mentioned you can uncheck the (green) smooth pan cursor, it isn't possible to deactivate the (blue) one other. Are you're asking for that?

Yes, the best solution I have found for now is turn "ui/score/voice1/color" to white

Does anyone know if this has been addressed or if a change is in the pipeline? I am working with smooth scrolling and the smooth cursor is kinda useless with the blue one there. Please let me know, or if there is a workaround, or of course let me know how to go about requesting the change.

No change yet afaik. You can create an issue in the Issue Tracker and give it severity "S5 - Suggestion"
