Rhythm exercises
Hi, does someone know a good way of displaying a bottom line with beats and top line with rhythms in two lines in one staff, e.g. like in the image. I tried minimizing the staff lines of a drum set and added the bass and snare. Then I changed the position in drum editor. Another method: I added one instrument Concert Snare and one Concert Bass and changed the position of the 2 drums and stems to look like the image and then wanted to merge them somehow. Does someone have a better method of doing this?
Thanks.

Using a drumset customized in this way does seem like one good way of doing it. Another would be to just use a normal staff but set it to only two lines in Staff Properties, then enter the notes normally in multiple voices. Either way, you can then save the result to your Templates folder for easy reuse.

Thanks Marc. If I used the second method, adding notes normally in multiple voices, would it be possible to have a different instrument/drum for each voice? I'm intending on using it for playback.

You can't mix pitched instruments with drums on a staff. If you want two different percussion instrument, then you can use a custom drum staff. If you want two pitched instruments, it's possible. Ask and I'll explain it.

Hi mike20! How would I get two pitched intruments into one staff? Thanks for your help.

Using voices, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/voices

You need to make the instrument something that has 2 channels, like the trumpet in C which has a normal channel and a mute channel. In the mixer, assign one sound to the normal channel (it can be any pitched instrument flute, tuba or anything in between) then assign the other instrument to the mute channel (once again any pitched instrument you want). I suggest that you make the higher pitched instrument normal and lower pitched the mute channel
Next, add any text you like to the staff on or before the first note where you want to hear the two instruments. Right click this text and choose Staff Text Properties and a window will pop up. In the first line select voice 1 only and keep the channel normal. In the second line select voice 2 and set the channel to Mute. Now all voice 1 notes you enter will have the normal sound and all voice 2 notes will have the mute sound.
If you don't need the text you added, select it and press V to make it invisible.
engedi. Mi a megoldás? Köszönettel, és bocsánat.

Köszönöm szépen. Ezt alkalmaztam, de a nyolcad gerendáját adja, a partitúrában meg
"szimpla" gerenda van. Ez okozza a gondomat.

You have to adjust the note groups in time signature properties: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/time-signatures#time-sig-properties.

a gyakorlati megoldásokhoz, sajnos. Ott van a palettán, de nem segített, sajnos.
3/4-ben hat db nyolcadot, szimpla gerendával, mint a negyedeknél. :-)

You need to click a note note connected to the note before it, then in the beam property palette click the symbol that says Beam middle.

Köszönöm szépen! Megvan!
Beírom nyolcadokat, az egész ütemet kijelölöm, rákattintok az "1/16-od gerenda szerkezete"
ikonra, s összerakja. Köszönöm szépen a rávezetést.
