Mutlibar Rests but split into sections
Hi everyone,
I am just transcribing a song for a student of mine. I need to have multibar rests which I have managed to do but I can't seem to figure out how to split them into sections. For example; 4 bars of rest for the into then 16 bars of rest for the first verse. All I can get at the moment is all the rests joined into one. Any help would be much appreciated.

I believe if you add rehearsal marks, (CTRL-M) that will break up the multi-measure rests.

Disable multi measure rests, right-click measure 5, measure properties, tick "break multi measure rest". Do the same with measure 21. Then enable multi measure rests again

Insert a double barline before you activate multibar rests (which you can turn on and off by pressing M).
