Cannot access start center once score is being worked on.
Have read for about 15 minutes in the handbook and can't find out how to call up the start center again. I went with the default tempo, but now I'd like to adjust that.

Thanks, JM!
For the record, the Start Center is not what you were looking for - you are probably thinking of the "Create New Score" wizard that appears in when create use File / New or equivalent shortcut or icon to create a new score. It's only use is for creating new score. To add a new tempo marking, use the palette or Add / Text; tho edit an existing tempo marking just double-click it.
The Start Center is the window you see when you start MsueScore, it shows thumbnails of a few of your recent scores and other info. You can get to that again via the File menu, but again, it's not really relevant here either.
