Error Msg - "Oops! This score is unavailable in your country” and “This item is temporarily unavailable”

• May 1, 2022 - 20:19

Every time I click on a piano score I get an error message that says “Oops! This score is unavailable in your country” or “This item is temporarily unavailable” (including those off the main “piano” hub). I live in Canada and find it hard to believe that EVERY score that I try to access cannot be opened due to licensing issues.

Is this a bug or an error in the app?

Have you only tried copyrighted scores, or have you tried public domain ones, or one uploaded by the composer? If even the latter aren't available, definitely go over to the website you are having trouble with - the score-sharing website musescore.,com - and report the problem over there.

I believe the answer is
This has happened to many many people using the mobile app and continues even if app is deleted and reinstalled and no one knows why and it looks like it just sorts itself out after a while ( hopefully )
Myself at the moment i can not view/play a single music score, not one

i’m also having this problem! at first i thought it was just certain songs but then i realised that it occurs after i’ve been playing and searching for songs on the app for about 30-40mins. i’ll come back later on and it’ll be fine but just keeps happening! super annoying. does anyone know how to fix this???

This is happening to me as well in Australia. Was browsing just fine then suddenly everything became unavailable. Surely there should be someone looking into this? I don’t want to pay a subscription for something completely unusable!

The confusion between the two sites seems to come up time and again in this forum. It would surely help everyone if the two sites didn't share the same logos and colour scheme, And as I type this comment into musescore.org, at the bottom of the screen are several links to musescore.com.
If I switch to musescore.org there are links back to musecore.com including one which is labelled "forum".
It's hardly surprising that people keep coming to the wrong site for advice.

Indeed. But it's also quite convenient to be able to have a single sign-on to allow one to access both sites. Back ten or more years ago when the sites were separate, people complained about that, so it was changed. Now people complain about them being too connected. There's probably no simple solution. So all we can do is continue to point people to the correct site when they post to the wrong one.
