Switching voices removes staccato
If I have some staccato notes in voice 1 and change them to voice 2, the staccatos are removed.

Could you upload a selection of your score where that happens? Can't reproduce.

So on my software build, if I go to "tools, voices, exchange 1 and 2",
voice 2 still has the stacc. markings...

Yes for me as well, but when I click a note and click on voice 2 at the top underneath the parts button (Ctrl-Alt-2), it removes the staccato.

Ah, that's what you mean. This behavior could be intended, so I'm not sure about that.
