Sound quality in musescore 4.o
When playing back a score in musescore 4.o, the sound is awfull. There are hiccups and echoes, I tried all sort of things, but nothing helps. Only when the mixer is on the sound is a bit better, but then you lose part of the page.
Has someone got a solution, or do I wait on an update.
Regards,
Paul

As I mentioned in another posting here, all of these playback problems, in my experience at least, disappear in an mp3 exported from MS4. The main problem I think is that the poor sound quality (I assume -- I haven't tested this) shows up when the score is played via MuseScore.com. Maybe that site should have a feature to allow playback to be used from an mp3 rather than from the original MS4 file.
Have yo tried some of these things?: https://musescore.org/en/node/339915
An audio interface also helps.

Thanks for the advice, I tried it but it does not help. Musescore 3 plays the sound correct, so why can't version 4 do the same?

Partially because MS4 is pretty much a different program.
Did you try an audio interface? My guess is no. Yes, you shouldn't need one. Not everyone has one. But still....
My files play back perfectly using MS3, but are awful in MS4. Distortion and repeated notes which means MS4 is unusable.

There are ways to make it work.
