Score closes unexpectedly when the only visible instruments have only rests and I press M
(4.1.1) When, in my score, the instruments that are currently visible rest for the entire piece, and I press M (to turn multi-measure rests on, I believe), the entire score crashes.
Steps to recreate
- Create a new score with as many instruments as you like
- I am not sure if the bug works when every instrument has only rests (and is visible)
- Make any instruments that have any notes invisible
- Press M

This is the score I originally experienced the problem in. In case it isn't a part of the file, I have only Trombone 4 and 5 selected. Shouldn't have to do anything else before pressing M, closing it

I can confirm the crash in 4.1.1.
Seems though the crash issue got resolved in 4.2, at least it doesn't happen in the latest development builds

I learned years ago to not do anything with parts until the score is finished. I'm not surprised the score crashes.

As said elsewhere already: I'm quite often working on parts and never really had an issue with it.
If there are issues, they need to get reported and fixed

Yes, but you have a stable system and know what you are doing. This one is a really odd situation.
