Quarter Note Triplet
So I'm trying to make a quarter note triplet but whenever I press the quarter note button It does this weird thing I have in the picture below. Can anyone Help. I've also looked at the handbook and its still not helping me.

You want 4 quarter notes in the space of one half note?
Or 3 8th in the space of one quarter?

I want 3 quarter notes in a triplet. It looks like this.

Then you'd need to start the triplet entry with selecting a half duration first (6), then the Ctrl+3. The handbook does explain that.
