Can't save online, 401 error
Has anyone gotten a similar message and if so, were you able to solve it?

Yes, there are a lot of similar questions in the forum: https://musescore.org/en/search/site?keys=401.
First, you should it save locally.
Second, you must login. 401 says "Authorisation required" as it is stated on you screenshot. Or try later again.
And third, this is not a question for musescore.org but for musescore.com. Maybe the service is (temporarlily) not available.
I'm having the same problem. I'll try the suggestions below. But also I just sent in a forum message about the same issue. I'm wondering if it happens after you've saved a few pieces, then it gets overwhelmed or something?

As the reports are piling up today, there seems to be a problem with the service.
Try again later or in the next few days.
