Musescore studio using 12.5GB of ram when idle
Recently, when using musescore, i went to one of my other applications, only to recive a prompt that musescore was using a whole 12.5 GB of ram.
I am using version 4.4.4, and I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SCORE OPEN
(Edit: After some testing, i have found that it is showing this issue consistently. I will uploD SOME PROOF when i get it onto my computer. (i had to take a photo of the proof on a diffrent device, since musescore was taking up so much ram that i could screenshot.))

For sure the "not responding" in your screenshot shows that this behaviour is not typical.
Here is the spec for my Windows system:
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64,MuseScore Studio version (64-bit): 4.4.4-243461245, revision: 2232670
And on my system MuseScore 4.4.4 consumes only 191.8 MB when idle:

Have you tried Help > Revert to factory settings ?

I've tried to, but the menu bar is greyed out, so i cannot interact with musescore at all.

Being in an infinite loop, you'd need to kill it
"not responding" doesn't mean idle at all, but rather being in a busy invinite loop
