No sound?
On Musescore 2, when I try to play the score, it acts as if it is playing, however no sound is omitting? I have tried resetting to factory default, with no success, and I have checked to make sure my computer is not muted, volume is up, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

See if you can find the system Mixer - WIndows provides one, as does Linux if you are using that; HP might add their own as well. Sometimes a particular application is being muted even when the overall volume is on. Also check (in MuseScore) Edit / Preferences / I/O and see what output devices are listed.

What are the output devices listed in the dialog I mentioned? Also what soundfont do you see listed in View / Synthesizer? How about if you go to View / Mixer - be sure instruments aren't muted or soloed inappropriately. Does this happen with all scores, including brand new ones you create from scratch?

Output Devices: Microsoft Sound Mapper
Speaker/HP (Realtek High Definition)
There's also an input and a microphone setting.
Both the fluid and the zerebus are empty.
None are solo'd, muted etc.
I have one score so far, however I'll create a new one to see if the problem persists, then update you further.

If Fluid is empty in View / Synthesizer, this suggest something is very wrong with your installation. Are you sure you did Help / Revert to Factory Settings? Try again to be sure. If you still don't see a soundfont listed, then you might try uninstalling and reinstalling. The soundfont FluidR3Mono should be installed by default and restored by the Revert operation even if you somehow uninstall it from MuseScore, but if the file was actually deleted from your hard drive, no amount of Revert to Factory Settings will restore it, hence the suggestion to re-install.

Aha! Success after reinstallation! I have no idea why this has happened, this genuinely baffeled me.
I thank you for your much appreciated help!
