Create a TAB and Staff created automatically
Hello,
I am a new musescore user.
I play the guitar and i would like to create a score.
I need to have both Tab and the staff/stave together but I want to enter the notes in the TAB only and musescore to enter the relatevely notes in the staff/stave automatically.
How is it possible, it must be an easy setting, right?
Thank you

Just start with the "Guitar + Tablature" template, there the normal and the tablature staves are linked, so whatever you enter in one shows in the other

this is what i did,
but everytime I enter a Note in the Tab Section the corresponding Note is not entered in the stave above automatically.
is there a special instruction to link them together??

This should work out-of-the-box, and does for me.
However, you can create those yourself too, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/create-new-score#add-staff

"this is what i did,"
Sure? Works as expected here with this template "Guitar + Tablature": Guitar Tablature.mscz
"but everytime I enter a Note in the Tab Section the corresponding Note is not entered in the stave above automatically."
How you do enter a note? Eg don't use the numeric keyboard, but keyboard (letters, A, B, etc.) or alphanumeric keyboard. See: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature#enter-notes
OK I got it,
thanks very much,
love to all
now a new question
How can I increase the space between the Stave and the Tab Below it,
the vertical distance between them?

In menu "Style" -> General -> Page -> increase the default value of "Grand Staff distance" (as wished: eg 7,5 instead the default 6,5)
Alternatively: Hold on Shift key, and with the mouse, drag the Tab staff lower.
thank you for your help
how is it possible to enter an 8th note and a quorter note or a quorter rest in the same beat?
I enter first the 8th but when I enter the quorter it overwrites the 8th and it does not work.
