Musescore playing my midi at the wrong tempo
I have a midi such it has the tempo of 85, but when i play the midi in musescore the tempo changes to 59.
Why is this happenning and how can be fixed?

Use the "File attachments" option at the bottom of the page, just above the Save and Preview buttons when you're typing your post. Click on Choose a file
Meanwhile, a guess is that there is confusion between the program that created the MIDI file and MuseScore over whether that 85 refers to quarter notes or dotted quarters (eg, for scores in compound meter like 6/8).

i'll create another midi with 85 as a tempo and see if the error persist. then i will send to you.

Not likely at all, but if you're really concerned about this, simply delete all but the first few measures.

Thank you to all of you for your politeness and effort in helping me (the simply fact you answered in less than 5 minutes is very good and it really proves that this is a great community, such is awesome). i've solved the problem by opening the exact same midi in a daw, then re-save it as a new midi. i think was a confusion between the original performance converted to midi such had different tempo changes in the next minutes of the song. Even if that doesn't make any sense, im glad i was able to fix this, and again, thank you so much for trying to help me.
