yamaha p105 won't play on your software
Connected. Downloaded drivers but when I want to compose nothing will appear from my keyboard. Anybody know which button or connection I'm missing ????

Start MuseScore after the keyboard is switched on https://musescore.org/en/handbook/note-input#midi-keyboard is this the procedure you followed?

Thank you so much! So simple when you know how. Now I just have to figure out to compose a carol in SATB + piano!

This will hopefully get foxed for the next major version, see #276194: It should be possible to re-init MIDI IN after plugging in new MIDI keyboard and the PR that goes along with it
Also be sure to have the current version of MuseScore (2.3.2), since older ones had a bug that could sometimes cause keyboard input to be ignored. And, of course, be sure you are actually in note input mode and following the normal procedures for note input and that everything is working correctly when using, say, the mouse or computer keyboard method of note entry.
