Ukulele Low G string
I have MuseScore 2.3.2. All the discussions show that the instrument box should have a "Ukulele Low G" choice to select, but that choice is not listed. Isn't that option supposed to be available in Musescore 2.3.2?

See in "All instruments" tab, or type ukulele in the search box (image below)
I join also a template (standard staff + linked Tab staff) for Uke low G: template low G uke.mscz

But my Instrument panel does not have a Uke low G choice. See attached file. When opening it says Musescore 2.3.2. Do I have to download a different version to get the Low G Uke?
I also can't figure out how to get a linked uke tablature staff set up on my own when starting a song. The "link" button is not lit up so I can't select it. So I've just saved a version that I found online of a uke staff plus a uke tablature staff and use that. But I also have songs that I'd like to add a tablature to after the song is written -- and I can't figure out how to do that.
Your suggestions are appreciated.

There is no file attached and MuseScore 2.3.2 does have a Low G Use, see the image in the reply above

When you choose instruments in the new score wizard or press i you get the dialog box Shoichi showed you. Under the list of instruments on the left side is a search box. Start typing Ukulele and the list will automatically go to all instruments and limit the list of instruments to the letters you type. All you need to type to see only Ukuleles is "uku."

To be clear: you need to first select "All instruments" using the dropdown at the top of the window in order for uncommon choices like the low G ukulele to show up. Or, you can simply type "uku" into the search box at the bottom of the window.
To add a linked staff when starting a song - or afterwards - you need to have first added an instrument that has string data defined - it won't for flute, for example. Ukulele (regular or low G) works fine. Then, while still in the instruments window, you need to click the staff you want to add a link staff to. Then you can click "Add Linked Staff".

I started with the uku as first staff and changed the string data to make it a low G that way (since Uke Low G is apparently not available on version 2.3.2. But when I then select to add uku tablature staff, the linked tab option is not available. What am I doing wrong.
If I start with the version that I saved with uku as staff one and a linked uke tablature as staff two and then copied the notes to this new linked version, it added the lyrics to both staff lines. I only want the lyrics for staff one. How do I delete or hide the lyrics from the 2nd staff?

"(since Uke Low G is apparently not available on version 2.3.2)."
Have you seen my image in first comment? I thought it was clear!
So, definitely: UKE LOW G IS AVAILABLE on 2.3.2.
Are you sure you using the 2.3.2? Please Check in menu "Help" -> About
Otherwise, you need to update.
Then, apparently you fail to add a linked staff. You need in the wizard, after adding the ukulele instrument (standard)
1) in the right- column to select first the staff (not the instrument name)
2) then click on "Add linked staff"
3) and change the staff type (ie in the dropdown list, choose Ukulele Tab)
4) Finish
Anyway, and again, have you open the template I made for you in the same first reply? I.e.template low G uke.mscz

Please re-read my response above (https://musescore.org/en/node/277383#comment-857537). I explain precisely how to find the low G ukulele in 2.3.2 (using either "All instruments" or the search box) and also precisely how to add a linked staff to an existing staff. If you continue to have trouble, please attach your actual score (not just a picture of it( and explain at exactly which step in the process I described something didn't work as expected.
As for lyrics - the whole point of linked staves is to display the same thing on both. While you could hide the lyrics on the tab staff (right-click one, Select / All Similar Elements in Same Staff, press "V" to make invisible or use Inspector), it might be simpler to not have the staves be linked. Then just copy and paste the notes. Otherwise you'll still be stuck with the extra space reserved for the lyrics, probably other things linked you might not want.

I do have Mr Bojangles added now with a linked uke tablature. But as you said it also adds a second set of words under the tablature. This is not wanted since they are all exactly the same as the words just above the tablature. And as you said, it really doesn't do much to make the lyrics invisible since the large space is still there. But the good point with the linked uke tablature is that the tablature automatically shows up correctly.
See "MrBojanglesWLinkedTemplate".
But if I add an unlinked staff Uke Tablature (See "MrBojangles-3rdUnlinkedTablature"), it just added a blank 3rd staff and I then need to manually add each tab/note. It is a lot of work to do that manually. And if I just copy the notes in the first staff (or second staff for that matter), and copy to the new unlinked staff, it then automatically adds the correct tab notes, but I then get another set of lyrics. All the extra lyrics makes the song twice as long.
Any ideas of how to get Musescore to automatically enter the tablature staff notes but not to end up with 2 sets of lyrics.

As I explained previously, you don't need to enter the second set of notes for the unlinked staff manually - just copy and paste. Takes seconds to copy an entire piece. You can use View / Selection Filter to exclude lyrics from the operation, or you can select and delete them afterwards using the exact same process I described for hiding them (but pressing Delete instead of "V").
