Hi. In often write music in TTBB format . The only options I can find for playback are tenor ahh ooh etc! Are there any voices you could recommend for clearer playback. Terry

I rather like the Choir Aaaahs. If you're not looking into more expensive packages, and aren't willing to stick with that, I'd think that piano is your best choice, because that's what you and you your chorus will hear at rehearsals.

The main downside of piano is the short sustain, so it's more suitable for faster-moving music than, say, Renaissance motets, atmospheric Eric Whitacre pieces, etc.
I generally find either woodwinds or strings most useful.
