Export option is greyed out. Cannot export to pdf.
The option to export the score I am working on is greyed out in the file menu; therefore, not allowing me to select the feature. Why is this so? How can I get this feature to not be greyed out? I am using a macOS Mojave version 10.14.6, with the latest version of MusePro

There is no MusePro, MuseScore is complete and free for everyone ;-)

If you look at your posted image, at the bottom right in the Status Bar it reads: 'Lyrics edit mode'.
MuseScore is waiting for you to finish editing the lyrics before you can export. Simply press Esc or click on an empty part of the score to exit Lyrics edit mode. Then you will be able to export the score.
