The error message you refer to is from the crash reporter, it isn't relevant to the actual cause of the crash. You crash seems to be on startup, try 3.3.4 which fixed a couple of different crashes involving particular graphics drivers and other system incompatibilities.

Hmm, very strange. Is this Windows? Next step might be to try starting using the command-line option "-s" to see if there is a conflict with your sound drivers (look in the Handbook for info on using command line options if you aren't familiar). Also try "-w" (although that probably won't help if double-clicking a score didn't) and also -F.

PowerShell won't help, but see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/revert-factory-settings#instruction… (and instead of -F use -s or any other option see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/command-line-options)

Running with -s worked for me

Which proves that there is something wrong with sound on your system, some conflict of your sound drivers and MuseScore.
Have you checked https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/known-incompatibilities ?

Any new update? I formatted my PC since then just installed basic drivers, and as stated before my AE-5 soundcard drivers. I looked through the known incomatibilities and i dont own any of those programs. the closest i have is the sentence "Creative Sound Blaster Z Series ASIO drive" but i dont have the Z series ASIO drive for all i know - its the AE lineup.
Any help? its still the same message (even running on the latest version) of "minidump file does not exsist"
I would really like any kind of help, as the post i initially sent was in 2019 when it stopped working for me, and i havent done anything special since then - and people kept referring me to an incompatibility from 2016 - https://musescore.org/en/node/93481#comment-58172.
if that was the case and its the same thing i would assume i would have the issue around the same time and not on 2019.
I tried even (before formatting) to replace the libportaudio but that didnt help either.
Anyways I would appriciate any help, as i find Musescore to be the most comfortable composing program ^^

Could it be related to #275837: MuseScore crashes during start-up while displaying "Start center"?
In reply to Could it be related to … by Jojo-Schmitz
it happens before i see the start center, moreoever it works if i disable the sound in a workaround way.
I checked on the nightly build for musescore 4 and the sound works there as far as i know.
If theres a solution we have to look at what musescore 4 changed imo.

One suspicion is that QT causes the problem and version 4 uses a different version of QT.

@Ido Tziony....
So you say MuseScore "stopped working".
What version were you running when it was working?
If it's the same version that you are trying to run now, and (since you say you can run it with -s), are you using bluetooth speakers? Bluetooth headphones?
BTW: Have you tried the latest release (from 2 weeks ago)?
