fill with slashes MS 3
I'm trying to fill a right hand piano part with quarter note slashes in a big band chart. I've tried a number of ways but can't get it to work. The Tools > Fill with Slashes gives it half note rhythmic notation instead of slashes. then converts them to musical half notes, then adds rhythmic notation with ease successive try (as in attached file.)

What time signature?

Ah, good question. It's in cut time. But i still would like to place 4 slashes per measure as is the custom for this kind of music. Any thoughts?

Easiest would be to change the time signature to 4/4, you can use time signature properties to make it display as cut time. Or you can fill a 4/4 measure elsewhere with slashes then copy and paste here.
