How to get rid of clef? Delete not working?
Loaded up a new lead sheet template - And I don't need the clef - but It won't delete? Any ideas?

You can use the percussion clef (two vertical lines) if you are notating rhythms instead of pitches. I don't think you can delete a clef, you can only change it to a different type of clef.
I haven't come across music staves with no clef at all. Is it common?

My training is in jazz where we play off of lead sheets. If the clef, key and time signature doesn't change, it is redundant to have them on every stave. Not to mention a waste of precious real estate. I'm disappointed that I can't remove clefs from all staves other than the first one. But this program is amazing so who am I to complain.

As you have been told already in https://musescore.org/en/node/195616#comment-708266 you can. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting#style-edit-gene… and untick "Create clef for all systems"
And realize that you resurrected a 9 years old thread ;-)
except for the first system you can make it invisible (contextual menu of the key)
the use of no key for the following systems did I see in hand made jazz sheets....
but why a computer made sheet should copy hand-made ones? since the key comes effortles...
robert leleu is saying that you can make the clef invisible if you want. Right click on the clef and choose "Set Invisible". You would need to do this for each line of music.
You can also get the clef on the first line only by unchecking : Style -> Edit Style -> System -> Create Clef for all systems

And as for the question why? I am writing some lead sheets - and my own style never includes a clef - jazzers just assume that its a G clef. One might see a lead sheet for a bass where the bass line was figured - but this is extremely rare. The G clef is usually redundant.
