Headless grace notes
I have some music that requires headless grace notes. Has anyone found a way to do this? Thanks.

I find this difficult to imagine.
Any chance of posting an example pic so we can see exactly what is required??
just right click the notehead -> set invisible

Far too easy, thanks!
ChurchOrganist: it's used when the composer wants notes of undetermined pitch. In this piece he wants the kind of pitch variation you'd hear in the music for shakuhachi, so he indicates rhythm but no pitch on a sustained note. Imagine a long series of whole notes tied together with occasional pitchless grace notes to indicate "warbles".

This option is gone in 2017. How do you do it?
I tried looking in the Inspector. But disabling 'Visible' disables the whole note, not just the head

It isn't gone, but has been moved into the Inspector in 2.0 (years ago!).
Shortcut V still works though. Works on notehead, stem, flag, indiviually

Oh, I see the note stays blue until you select another item, then only it goes 'invisible' grey. I thought it wasn't working. Thanks!
