Can't Access some of my Musescore Scores
Over the past year or so I have created approximately 20 scores on Musescore- half of which are melody and lyrics only (ie one stave scores), and half are lyric and melody with piano accompaniment (ie three stave scores).
Recently I decided to export one of the one stave scores as an mxl file . Since then I have only been able to access 7 out of the 10 one stave scores and NONE of the 3 stave scores.
Whenever I click the tab for selecting a score to open I am now directed to my own downloaded files and the score is in bold both as an mscx file and an mxl file. The remainder of my downloads are all ghosted in grey and consist of general downloads not related to Musescore.
I fully believe (and indeed pray!) that the all of my scores are still preserved SOMEWHERE in Musescore but somehow not acessible to me. I am wondering if this is an issue with my laptop or as issue with Musescore itself. I am currently using a Mac laptop, OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6
I am hopeful you can shed some light on what may have gone wrong, and what I need to do to fix it.

Those ghosted in grey probably are backup files (starting with a dot
.and ending with a comma ',', files starting with a dot are considered hidden in Mac and Linux.You'd need to tell the" File > Open" dialog in which (sub)directory or folder to look. The folder for downloaded files most probably is not the one where you stored the files you saved.
To be clear, there is no "SOMEWHERE in Musescore". All your scores are simply ordinary files in ordinary folders on your computer, and MuseScore never deletes or moves them - they always stay exactly where you chose to save them to. So you simply need to remember which folder you saved your files to, navigate to that folder (either with Finder or with File / Open in MuseScore) and your scores will still be sitting right there where you saved them.
If you aren't sure which folder you saved them to, use Finder to, well, find them. Just search for all files with a name ending in ".mscz" or ".mscx".
