Find/Go To not working
'Find' is not working - I diligently read thru messages and links without figuring it out.
How do I deselect "pan" (whatever that is) I notice it in the mixer and move the dial to 0 but no good result.

That is a different sort of pan. You want the Pan score button in the playback toolbar See here for version 3 https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/play-mode#playback-toolbar

The pan control in the mixer adjusts the relative volume of left and right audio channels to make the sound appear to come from left or right of centre.
The pan control in the playback toolbar enables the score to move during playback to keep the currently playing note in view. For some reason it also affects navigation of the score with the find command. It really shouldn't IMHO.
