Marching Percussion Sound Issue (2.0)
When I downloaded Musecore 2.0 about a few minutes ago, I was excited for the marching percussion instruments/sounds. But when I loaded the cymbals, Bass Drums, Tenor Drums, and Snare Drums up in a score, when I selected for what them to play, instead of hearing a buzz or a roll, I had tonal noises. I heard notes, not percussion sounds. This happened for all of the marching percussion instruments.

Which file should I move into the Musescore 2 sounds folder? When I move what seems to be the normal one, it doesn't show up in the synthesizer.
In reply to Which file should I move into by Bryce Turner
you need to add in synthesizer, see http://musescore.org/en/node/21494, near the end

Did you extract it from the ZIP file?
You should extract the soundfont (SF2 file) from the ZIP file into Documents\MuseScore2\Soundfonts

OOer - no MuseScore is rejecting the file - I have no idea why!
It loads perfectly OK in Viena!!!

I try redownloading it and see what happens when I go through the process again.

When I extract it, it says it can't due to some unknown output error due to Musescore.

OK mystery solved - somehow the source file had become corrupted.
I have now fixed this.
Please try downloading it again. If you still have trouble report back here.
Perhaps you would be kind enough to test the DrumlineXtra soundfont and let me know whether that loads?
