In a choral score, I've got a key change over the barline from B major to E flat major. The altos have an upbeat A# in the first bar, then an E flat in the second (i.e. after the key change). I'd like to put a small notehead on B flat in parentheses between the A# and the following barline to help the altos make the transition. I'm on 2.0.2. How do I do that? There's no solid notehead in the Note Heads palette, and I'm guessing that putting one in will muck up the measure's beat count.
Hopefully I as a techno-imbecile have managed to attach the example correctly. Here goes:

I guess you could use a "grace note after" for that (it is small by default) and add a bracket to it via the notehads palette
In reply to I guess you could use a by Jojo-Schmitz
Cool idea, thanks. I put parentheses around both the note and the flat sign and made the stem, flag and inner parentheses invisible.
