Copyright question about musescore
Could I make a YouTube video about music theory- using musescore software as an application to visually show chords, sounds, etc?
Or would this be any form of copyright infringement..? I just don't know!
thanks

MuseScore in no way changes a thing about the copyright status of your work. If it is completely your original work, it remains so whether you write it with MuseScore or with a pencil. if on the other hand the work is borrowed from other sources - like if your examples come from pop or jazz songs - then it remains bound by those copyrights, again, whether you write the music with MuseScore or with a pencil. In other words, MuseScore is just a too; what you do with it is your business entirely.

My question is more about my ability to feature my work being made on musescore as the medium or tool. Do I need permission of any kind from musescore to show their program in my Youtube videos?
Thank you

No copyright infringement against MuseScore for sure.
