Slur Bug in 4.2 - but works ok when inserted from master palette
Slurs immediately revert back to their original form when I try to adjust them. However, I'm able to adjust them if I insert them from the master palette instead of the left Articulation palette. Am I doing something wrong?

I can't reproduce any such problem. Please attach the score and give precise steps to reproduce the issue - describe exactly which notes you are attaching the slur to, exactly how you are attaching the slur (click or drag & drop), exactly what kind of adjustment you are trying to make, and at what point something goes wrong.
Do note that certain types of adjustments will fight you if you haven't disabled autoplace for the slur. But that's not new - it's been that way for years.

Steps would still be useful. I take it you're on Windows, could be unique to that OS?

Just select a note and click the slur of the Articulations or Lines palette and then grab and drag any of the handles (any but the center one)
On Windows 11, MuseScore 4.2.1 (and latest master). Not on 4.2.0

The first slur was added by typing S and I can modify its appearance as can be seen (same when added from master palette). The second slur was added from the Articulations palette, and it can't be modified. This may not be too serious as I just found out I can easily add a slur by typing S. Thanks.

Sorry. Looks like it you can modify the slurs once you save and re-open the score.

I can't say that I've ever added a slur from the articulations palette. But I can confirm that they aren't adjustable.
I've always range selected the notes then selected the slur from the tool bar. Or maybe hit S.

Yes, perfect, thanks again, it works on Linux. It doesn't work on my Windows 10, but I found through Jojo-Schmitz to just press 's' on the keyboard so it's no longer an issue for me :D
