I am getting notifications from my antivirus software about a possible security issue:

Upgrading to Muse Hub v2.0 (manually download from https://musehub.com) is probably a good idea anyway.

Muse Hub 1.0 had a 'community sharing' feature, that was basically a peer-to-peer network for distributing Muse Hub content. Of course, the necessary precautions have been taken to ensure that this is secure, but the hard truth is that there will always remain a tiny chance that someone finds a way to break the security measures.

Muse Hub 2.0 has gotten rid of this feature completely, and will only download directly from Muse Group servers.

It sounds like you're facing potential security concerns with Musehub. First, ensure that your antivirus software is up to date and run a full scan of your system. You might also want to check if Musehub is from a reputable source and consider uninstalling it if the notifications persist. Always prioritize your device's security! Cybersecurity has been a hot topic lately, and since I’m interested in tech, I thought I’d look deeper into it. The article I read https://www.topessaywriting.org/samples/cyber-security explained how companies are constantly battling hackers to protect data. It’s definitely an area that’s becoming more important with everything moving online. I’m thinking this could be a great focus for my next research project on digital safety.

In principle not; it installs everything for the current user only now. For things that do require admin permission to be installed, Muse Hub does not install them automatically anymore, but instead launches the installer for you; then the OS will ask for admin permissions for that installer, and not for Muse Hub.
